Derma9 is a  proven effective multifunctional spray for the care of skin, coat and mane & tail hair in horses, dogs and cats. It is suitable for different coat and hair types and supports the coat’s natural characteristics.

Derma9 makes it easier to detangle matted coats as well as mane and tail hair. It gives the hair a smooth, slippery feel, making brushing and combing easier.

Moisturising and caring for dry, flaky skin

Derma9 is a lightweight moisturising spray for dry and flaky skin. It moisturises and cares for the skin and contains ceramides and fatty acids that support skin care.

Derma9 is particularly suitable for skin care in hairless dogs and cats when the skin needs regular moisturising. It is also suitable for, for example, horses with a flaky mane crest during winter, as well as for caring for dry skin in horses, dogs and cats.

After clipping and under rugs

After clipping, the short coat is exposed to greater mechanical stress than usual. Derma9 cares for the skin and coat and gives the hair a smooth, slippery feel.

Under a rug, Derma9 reduces friction between the coat and the rug and helps prevent rug rubs.

Caring for static coat

Derma9 reduces static electricity in the coat and mane & tail hair. It is particularly suitable during rug season and in dry winter air when the coat and mane & tail hair tend to become static.

Dirt, snow and snowballs

Derma9 leaves a breathable surface on the coat that repels dirt and snow. It helps keep particularly light-coloured coats cleaner and reduces snow sticking to the hair.

The dirt- and snow-repellent surface also makes snowballs easier to remove and reduces their formation in the coat.

The protective surface does not weigh the coat down, but leaves the coat and mane & tail hair light, airy and natural to the touch.

Derma9 is also suitable for caring for the paw pads of dogs and cats. The lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturising spray cares for the skin without leaving a heavy or sticky surface.

Reducing tick exposure

Derma9 forms a breathable, slippery protective surface on the coat that makes it more difficult for ticks to attach to the hair and helps reduce exposure to ticks.

Directions for use

Shake well before use. Spray a light, even layer onto the coat. For shine, wipe or brush.

For skin care: Part the hair, spray Derma9 directly onto the skin and massage gently.

For detangling coat and mane & tail hair: Spray onto the hair and brush or comb.

Under a rug: Spray lightly onto the coat before putting on the rug.

For paw pads: Spray lightly onto the skin and spread evenly.

Derma9 works best on a clean coat

For best results, wash the horse, dog or cat thoroughly before starting to use Derma9 to remove residues of previously used products, especially if silicone-based products have been used.

Silicone-based products, which are commonly used at high concentrations in products for horses’ manes and tails, can form a film on the hair that prevents Derma9 from adhering properly and reduces its effectiveness. Spray Derma9 directly onto clean, towel-dried coat or mane & tail hair.

Note: Effective removal of silicone residues requires a strong anionic shampoo.
