Description

Derma10 Heel Balm is a water-free, fast-absorbing paw balm and protective balm for horses, dogs and cats.

Paws and paw pads

Derma10 supports the elasticity of paw pad skin and its resistance to physical stress and cold. It protects dog paw pads during strenuous activity, such as hunting and agility, and supports the renewal of damaged and cracked paw pad skin. The fast-absorbing balm is suitable for regular paw care in active dogs. In winter, a small amount can also be applied to the hair between the toes to reduce snow sticking.

Protecting horse pasterns from moisture

Derma10 forms a breathable protective surface on the skin that protects against moisture. It is particularly suitable for protecting horse pasterns in wet conditions, such as during wet autumn and winter weather.

Hoof care

Derma10 helps maintain the hoof’s moisture balance and supports the condition of the outer horn layer. It also gives the hooves a natural shine.

Dry, hard and cracked skin areas

Derma10 softens hardened skin and is suitable for caring for dry, hard and cracked corners of the mouth in horses.

Use: Apply to dog paw pads before exercise and again in the evening. A good paw-care routine is to apply paw balm every time the nails are trimmed, especially for active dogs.

Hooves: Apply Derma10 to the coronary band, where new hoof horn grows. This directs the fatty acids to the growing horn and supports the condition of its outer layer.

The hygienic packaging keeps the product clean. The product does not need to be taken with the fingers, reducing the risk of transferring impurities from the hands into the product. The tube allows clean application directly to paws, corners of the mouth and hooves.

Note:  Genuine unprocessed shea butter melts at temperatures above 30°C, and it is advised not to keep the product too warm so it doesn’t melt and turn into a liquid oil. Melting enhances the absorption of Derma10 heel balm to the paw pads and hooves.
