I am Eirin Losvik a 18 year old event rider. I’ve been riding since I was little and have focused on eventing for the last 7 years. I was initially riding ponies, but moved to eventing after we acquired an event pony. Riding my pony Fragge made me a confident and courageous rider. I currently have two competition horses, Faith and Daffodil’s Flamenco, both of which I ride in the Finnish varsity team.
I have won bronze and gold in the Finnish junior championship with Faith and have also won the “Young Riders” Finnish championship twice. I have participated twice in the European championships with Faith. Faith is a brave horse with many good qualities for an event horse. During the 4 years I have had Faith, he has developed a lot and we have had a lot of fun together. His strength is specifically the cross-country phase. He proceeds without mistakes and rarely gets penalty points for over time. Last season we started 2* event competitions and the plan is to continue at the same level with good results.
2016 season is my second season with Daffodil’s Flamenco. He achieved many good results last year and we got to know each other. Daffodil’s Flamenco has smooth movements and fine paces, as well as being a light jumper and courageous in cross-country. Last year we had many good international competitions with great results. 2016 is my last year as a junior rider and my target with Daffodil’s Flamenco is the European championships. We’ll start competing international 1* competitions and hopefully enter some 2* competition also, as preparation for the grand final in Italy in September.
I have been using SOLHEDS-products since spring 2015. My horse got mud fever, which I managed with Derma1 Skin care Shampoo and Derma5 Germ Fighting Cream . The results were definitely significant. SOLHEDS products were easy to use and helped to cure the skin problem so both my horse and I were happy. I am using Derma4 Gentle Shampoo regularly on all my horses, which makes their coat brilliant.
